WHAT IS RUCK-X?
Ruck-X is a simple, accessible exercise system aimed at busy men 40 and above. Ruck-X combines cardio and strength to keep you fit, strong and ready for life.
Ruck-X was born of our own desire to find a better way to exercise. We wanted something that was time efficient, got us outside, walking, and talking to keep our mind as healthy as our bodies.
The solution was simple – walking with a weighted backpack, aka Rucking.

MARCUS MILLER
Marcus is 47, runs a small business and has three kids, a wife and a dog. Marcus became interested in health, fitness & wellness around 20 years ago when his wife was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Since then, Marcus has tried to exercise and eat well within the confines of a busy life, but recently has found it hard to balance the demands of work, family & looking after himself (until he started Rucking).
FOUNDER
OWEN MAYBANK
Owen (also 47) has spent 25 years working in corporate roles within various sectors. Being active and spending time with family are critical to Owen’s well-being, but this is not always easy to maintain due to the odd injury, illness or just because of his love of cheese. Incorporating rucking into his schedule with Marcus, at least twice a week, provides a low-risk form of exercise that gives good return for the time invested.
